How is your engraving different from what I can get at a kiosk?

Most kiosks use a quick “scratch” method (etching) or surface printing. Our process uses a high-power fiber laser to physically vaporize and carve the metal deep below the surface. This deep engraving creates permanent characters that won’t fade or wear away from rubbing against collars, other tags, or rough play. It’s a significantly more durable and longer-lasting method, ensuring your information stays readable for years.

Can you engrave on both sides of the tag?

Yes, absolutely. We typically recommend engraving your pet’s name (optional) on the front and your essential contact information on the back. Most of our custom engraved dog tags allow for 3-5 lines of text on each side. Our online design tool lets you preview exactly how your information will look before you finalize your order.

What are the best materials for engraved tags?
